4. Services Described
This website describes the medico-legal expert witness services offered by the chambers, including expert allocation, psychiatric and psychological assessment, report preparation and court attendance. The descriptions on the website are provided for general information only and do not constitute an offer capable of acceptance.
A binding engagement arises only when a formal instruction is accepted in writing by the chambers following receipt of a completed enquiry form or direct correspondence, and a fee quotation has been confirmed.
5. No Legal or Medical Advice
The content on this website is provided for general information purposes only. Nothing on this website constitutes legal advice, medical advice, or a recommendation to pursue any particular course of action. Information submitted through the website’s enquiry forms is used solely for the purpose of responding to your enquiry, allocating an expert and providing a fee quotation. Submitting an enquiry does not create a contractual obligation on either party.
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit is accurate and does not contain confidential material beyond what is necessary for a preliminary assessment of the instruction.
8. Fees & Engagement
Fee quotations are provided in writing following receipt of an enquiry. Engagement terms, including payment terms, cancellation fees and scope of instruction, are governed by the chambers’ standard engagement letter, which is provided separately at the point of instruction.
Standard payment terms are 30 days. LAA-funded matters are subject to the LAA payment cycle. Full details of fee structure and cancellation tiers are set out in the engagement letter.
